MuxForms on GitHub Pages is the standard embed snippet in your layout or index.html. Allow https://username.github.io or your custom domain on the form; submissions never touch GitHub Actions unless you add them.

Docs

GitHub Pages serves static files only—MuxForms is the backend your repo does not need to host.

Common questions

Project site vs user site URL?
Allow the origin visitors use—https://user.github.io/repo/ still uses origin https://user.github.io.
Custom domain?
Allow https://www.yourdomain.com after DNS is live.
Can Actions forward submissions?
Prefer browser embed or server Action with secret in repo settings—not in the static HTML.
Jekyll site?
See /docs/jekyll for a layout partial; same embed.

Open source sites still need inbound mail.
