What is MuxForms?
MuxForms is a hosted form backend and workflow inbox. Design a form once, embed it or POST JSON from apps, then read every response in one dashboard—with spam folder, export, optional AI summaries, and email or autoresponder notifications.
How much does MuxForms cost?
MuxForms has a free tier (1 form, 50 submissions/month), Pro at $9 per month, and Team at $29 per month. Pro checkout includes a 7-day trial.
Do I need a credit card to start?
Create a free account — no card required (1 form, 50 submissions per month). Upgrade to Pro or Team when you need unlimited volume; Pro checkout starts a 7-day trial before billing.
Can I use MuxForms on more than one website?
Yes on Pro and Team: unlimited forms across websites and apps, one inbox. Free includes 1 form.
Does MuxForms work with WordPress?
Yes. Paste a container div with your form id and load embed.js. No WordPress plugin or PHP mail setup is required.
Does MuxForms work with Next.js?
Yes. Drop the embed on any page, or POST to the submit API from a Server Action or Route Handler. CORS allowlists control which origins can submit.
Does MuxForms work with Expo or React Native?
Yes. Keep your native UI and POST JSON to /api/v1/forms/{formId}/submit. Mobile submissions appear next to website submissions in the same inbox.
How does MuxForms stop spam?
Honeypot hits and heuristic rules (submission speed, links, keywords) go to a Spam folder instead of your main inbox. Optional Turnstile, rate limits, schema validation, submit tokens for embeds, ingest secrets for native/server posts, and CORS allowlists. Mark spam to teach keyword rules.
Where are submissions stored?
Submissions are stored in Postgres via Supabase, scoped to the form owner. Read them in the two-pane inbox (star, archive, workflow status, notes), export CSV/JSON, or receive copies by email with digest and multi-recipient options.
Is MuxForms a Typeform or Google Forms alternative?
MuxForms is a backend and inbox first, but you can also publish a hosted link (/f/your-slug) with your styling for quick surveys and users without a website. Use Typeform when the conversational hosted experience is the whole product.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Manage or cancel from My account. Access to the dashboard requires an active subscription.
Who is MuxForms for?
Indie hackers, agencies, and operators who run multiple sites or apps and are tired of rebuilding contact forms, lead capture, waitlists, and feedback widgets for every property.
Can MuxForms summarize submissions with AI?
Yes. Non-spam submissions can be classified (lead, support, spam, other), tagged with sentiment, summarized in the inbox list, and expanded with a draft reply—within your daily AI credit limit shared with form drafting.
Can I export submissions?
Yes. Download CSV or JSON from a form inbox or the global inbox. Filters and date range apply; field labels become column headers.
